Wedding Card Holder BirdCage

One of my close girlfriend is getting married. She loved the card holder birdcage I had done for my wedding for the wedding. So I decided to create one for her as well. Here's what we've done. Deco with paper crafts stickers & DIY fabric flowers.

I love the colours.

Cakies Giveaway!

My favorite blogger, Cakies is having a giveaway from Lola's Girl!
It looks very good if you asked me.
There's a little "party in a box". The box includes: polkadot balloons, sprinkles, cupcake liners, cupcake flags, bubbles, paper straws, bunting, and star shaped confetti. Along with that, a copy of Handmade Weddings, which is a good book full of fun party ideas even if you aren't planning a wedding.

Owl Diaper Cake

A friend is having her baby shower and I decided to get a little creative on the gift.
After reading up a few craft blogs and youtude videos on diaper cake, it looks fairly easy to create my own.

Instead of using rubber bands, I cut strips from a clear plastic bag and roll round the diaper & tape on the strips. It's secure and it dun left a mark that rubber band does when you tie it too tight.

So here's what I created!
The photo is a little too bright to have a clear look.
Will try to upload another photo.

Updated photo

I can't remember where I got this owl tutorial from but I love making them.
I created some really cute bows that look awesome on the cake as well.
And on the hair!

Yes those are hair clips as well.
Here's the tutorial on how to make the bow.

Have fun making them!

Updated!
I found some photos I took while rolling the diapers.

Step 1: Roll the diaper (What else right)

Step 2: Roll up like a swiss roll

Step 3: Tied a strip of plastic strip around it.Why plastic strip instead of rubber band?
Cause it will not leave a mark on the diaper when you tied it too tightly.

Step 4: Ta Da! All done

One down... 59 more to go.
